A great experience! The staff is super nice, very accommodating, both outside in the light and in the dark. Eating in total darkness is really a completely different experience and it didn't taste good either. Also that care was taken that you can eat it reasonably well without looking and at least have a chance to recognize individual ingredients. We can definitely recommend the restaurant?

First the good experiences. The dishes were delicious and it was an experience to dine there. The staff was extremely friendly. Now for the negative point. I was there during what is probably the hottest time of year. It was very warm in the darkened part of the restaurant and a fan was running throughout the menu, which kept blowing cool air into my neck when I swiveled. I personally don't like this at all. For structural reasons, you couldn't open a window and the stuffy air gave me a headache. In the meantime I had considered canceling the menu in order to have the waiter take me out. But then I stayed because of my company. This could be remedied by an air conditioning system instead of a fan. But all in all there is nothing else to complain about.

We have finally managed to redeem our voucher. It was my friend & me's first experience in the dark & ​​we were both absolutely thrilled! We were welcomed and looked after in a very friendly manner. Everything was explained exactly what awaits us. My "special requests" were also taken into account and asked very carefully what I do not eat or what kind of allergies I have. Christian also took great care of us in the dark. The quality of the food, as well as the drinks, was really great! Was nothing to complain about! Price-performance ratio is right too :)

This was the third time we went to a "Dinner in the Dark", but the first time in Leipzig. Our expectations of the event were exceeded! Fair prices, very good food and absolutely great service. Every employee has a smile on their face and every question, no matter how stupid, was answered in a very friendly and courteous manner. It's a shame that such good service isn't available everywhere .... We particularly enjoyed the follow-up to the event. Guessing the food was one thing, but the surprise was presented in a very nice and interesting way with a lot of time and patience. According to our past experience, the Mondschein Dunkelrestaurant works at a very good high level. In any case, we can recommend this restaurant and the experience to everyone who wants to experience a successful evening. We will be back definitely!

A very delicate selection of ingredients and dishes. The waitresses were super friendly and helpful and, above all, extremely patient! I can only recommend it to everyone.

It was a great experience to eat completely in the dark. Food was delicious. Servings are very small, but completely sufficient. The staff were all very friendly and looked after very well. I bought vouchers online and they were accepted. There were no problems either.

Absolutely to suggest! The food was absolutely great and the evening was very successful. You can't believe how routinely blind people can eat and drink, let alone run and get along. You can choose between different menus, vegetarian, meat, fish or the surprise menu. You are asked about allergies, because you do not get to know exactly what you are eating. Before it goes into the dark, everything is explained in detail. The two waiters are also introduced, after which you are slowly brought into the dark and the evening begins. If you want to stay one more night in Leipzig, you can spend the night in the hotel with small apartments (small kitchen) directly opposite the restaurant. After eating, what everyone has eaten is dissolved in the light. It turns out how fixed our brain recognizes taste in connection with our eyes. Because not everything tastes blind like when you see it. Also very welcome as a gift. ?
